Volunteering

As a non-profit organization, The Richard W. Erickson Foundation is always looking for those who share our passion for classic and antique vehicles and the history of working power to help further our mission to keep history alive.  We rely heavily on volunteers in order to run our Utah living history museum and put on the Utah music festivals that our visitors enjoy throughout the summer season.

Our wonderful volunteers run our working displays, such as the belt driven saw mill, lath mill, and working small scale train.  Blacksmithing, threshing and hay baling demonstrations also require volunteers in order to be successful.  Whether you have a working knowledge of these crafts or are interested in learning more or being part of one of our many Utah family activities, there is a place for you at the Richard W. Erickson Foundation.  Due to logistics and liability issues, all volunteers must be at least 14 years old.

All of our volunteers receive free entry to the Antique Power Show or the festival they are assisting with, a gas card to assist with transportation, lunch provided  during their service and a free T-Shirt.
